Cameras-
I can use various Canon cameras including the EOS 1300D, 600D AND 700D. I have learned how to take the best possible photos, as I understand what camera angles and what lens to use for each subject that I am shooting. I can shoot on manual mode confidently, allowing me to set my suitable aperture, shutter speed and iso. This enables freedom and accuracy, as I don't have to worry about what automatic mode will do to my shots. Photography has changed my mindset, I am a lot more spontaneous during shoots. When I look at a subject, I see countless ways to take a shot and I am motivated to be as quirky and creative as I can.

Adobe Premiere Pro-
As part of a University assessment, I helped produce an opening sequence to a Television drama. I took it upon myself to handle the post production element which included editing the entire drama together. I used Adobe Premiere Pro which is an advanced editing software. I started my editing journey on iMovie, which is a simple, easy to use editing software. However, as my confidence grew, I decided to switch to Adobe Premiere Pro. I can now confidently edit videos together using the software and I have knowledge on many features that the software provides. For example, in the Tv drama that I edited together, I used transitions to make the shots smoother (04.37-04.38). As well as editing visuals, I have also learned how to edit sound in post production to ensure that the sound throughout a video are at the same volume levels.

Adobe Photoshop-
Adobe Photoshop is an advanced editing software with a variety of tools and features that are used to enhance photographs. I have completely familiarised myself on how to use a handful of features including basic adjustments such as exposure, saturation, contrast and gradient. I have also learned how to use advanced features such as creating effects and transforming them into actions. For example, some of my edited images have effects including light leak, blur and zoom. To shorten the time I spend editing, but maintain a good result, I create effects and recorded them using the 'action' feature.
